there’s a deeper challenge — the shortage of modern hospitals, equipment, and specialized doctors. We exist to help bridge that gap, connecting patients to the care and expertise they need to heal, recover, and thrive. Our headquarters are in Nairobi, Kenya, and we are proudly affiliated with RFA Detroit, Michigan, USA. Through our Wings to Health Programme, we also operate a regional office in New Delhi, India, where our logistics team works hand in hand with hospitals and specialists to make each patient’s journey as smooth and comforting as possible. We also believe wellness is happiness. That’s why we promote high-level wellness checkups in India, combining health with heritage—giving patients the
chance to explore iconic sites like the Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort, Akshardham Temple, and Jama Masjid. We also host medical camps featuring renowned specialists from India from diverse fields who offer pro bono consultations,
Relief for Africa Foundation (RFA) is transforming healthcare access across East Africa through strategic partnerships and an unwavering commitment to service.
In collaboration with organizations such as World Medical Relief and CURE International, RFA has mobilized over $5.6 million worth of medical equipment and supplies and donated 21 paramedic ambulances to health institutions in Kenya and Ethiopia — significantly strengthening emergency response and healthcare delivery in underserved regions.
We have organized specialized medical camps that bring expert doctors from the United States to train local health workers in advanced critical care. In a landmark initiative, we partnered with leading pacemaker manufacturers and the University of Michigan to provide 46 free pacemaker surgeries for patients in Kenya — a life-saving effort valued at over $425,000.
In partnership with Warmilu Inc., we distribute innovative non-electric baby incubators designed to keep newborns warm in areas without reliable electricity. These life-saving devices are especially vital for rural healthcare facilities and for the safe transport of premature infants, ensuring every baby gets a stronger start in life.
RFA champions preventive healthcare through free wellness checkups powered by Rijuven’s innovative “Clinic in a Bag” technology. These mobile clinics bring essential diagnostic care directly to communities—in schools, churches, workplaces, and marketplaces, making early detection and health awareness accessible to all.
